Kids on a Mission
One of our youngest members once exclaimed in worship, “The Holy Spirit lives at Chuck E. Cheese!”
You’ve never seen a small church go all-out for its kids like Traverse Bay. We love to have wee ones around and to find ways to make church relevant to their lives. Annual events, including Vacation Bible School, our Harvest Festival at Halloween and the Easter Egg Hunt each year draw community children into our doors.
And we have fun programs for youngsters throughout the year!
Our Sunday School program uses an innovative curriculum that has all ages learning and growing together, right up until middle school. Skits and songs bring Bible stories and messages alive during 9:30 worship.
At 11:00am worship, children have a special place in the service. During children’s time with Mr. George, they get a message catered to them, so that they can participate in church worship from very young ages.
Come, see for yourself! We don’t have a lot of frills and fancy spaces. We do have friendly and committed teachers ready to help make your child’s church experience fun and educational!
